When Mikey Burton started his 100 Envelopes project a couple years ago, it was simply a way to take his sketching to a new place—or in this case, a whole new postal code.
The Value of Using Illustration Instead of Photography
Scott Hull Associates connects illustrators and brands from across the world to get beautiful work done quickly and efficiently. Check out Lisa Ballard’s packaging for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters as an example! From concept sketches, to background art, to final mockups, the whole process is detailed at the link below.
A Tale in Collaboration (Ft. Social Distancing)
So when Mikey Burton teamed up with Keith Berger of Cranky Pressman to make a beautiful print about social distancing, they kept their hands—and thumbs—busy. They produced a 16x26, two-color letterpress poster, printed with love—and big ol’ wood letters—in Salem, Ohio. This limited-edition print sold out in less than an hour.
Elevating the Yankee Candle Tradition
For years, Lisa Ballard has been an illustrative resource for the talented designers at Yankee Candle. A “go to” partner whenever new products emerge, much of Lisa’s work has dealt with breaking out of Yankee Candle’s traditional line (e.g. Scent Sticks products).
“Max Attacks”—selected for the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show.
Illustrator Penelope Dullaghan is so very honored to have been chosen by the Society of Illustrators for their Original Art Show in NYC!
