John Maggard
Over the past decade I have made more and more use of digital imaging, at times as a tool for the design or completion of a traditionally painted piece, and at other times serving as the finished art itself; either a complete digital image or moving animation. The possibilities for combining these techniques seem endless...from my perspective, this keeps the artwork interesting and demanding in both a creative and a technical sense.
I live in Terrace Park, Ohio, with my wife Sue, and serve as Captain for our community’s volunteer Fire Department and Chief of the Emergency Medical Service. I’ve been fascinated with railroads for 40 years, and am a member of the Cincinnati Railroad Club and several other railroad organizations. I also play guitar, keyboards, and pedal steel in a local band with good friends.
