What inspired you illustrate a series on surfing? It was actually a show about growing up in Cocoa Beach. I called it "Surfology" because beach culture was the bulk of my youth.

by Larry Moore I just returned from a painting event at the historic and prestigious Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia. This is one of 8 paintings I created during the week. An interior with a young lady reading. It was created on site with the permission of the hotel and the original now hangs in their gallery.
We're super pleased to share that Larry Moore's painting "Kuba Kuba" was honored at Paint Richmond. Larry has, for several years now, participated in plein air painting events around the country. Basically, a plein air painting event is a gallery or museum show where artists come with blank canvases and create an exhibit by the end of the week.
