Meg Hunt's First Book is Named to Amazon’s Top 20 List!

Meg Hunt from Scott Hull Associates Interstellar Cinderella book cover Exciting news! The picture book illustrated by Meg Hunt and written by Deborah Underwood for Chronicle Books, Interstellar Cinderella, received an amazing honor-- the Amazon’s Best Books of the Year So Far. Out of all the children's books published in the first half of 2015, editors picked their favorite Top 20 from each age category. This year, Interstellar Cinderella was selected for the kid ages 3 to 5 category.

Meg’s Cinderella looks like she’s stepped out of a contemporary indie webcomic, and her extraterrestrial world hints at mid-century illustration influences.

Interstellar Cinderella is a great riff on the classic fairy tale, except this time our magenta-haired heroine dreams of being a space mechanic who fixes robots all day. There's a fairy god-bot, cute aliens, a dashing prince, and stars and galaxies swirling around. Cinderella zips throughout the story with a can-do spirit, a DIY attitude, and loads of charm.

Meg will soon be sharing with us the story and process of how this little book came to be. To sign up for the announcement click the "inspire me" box at the bottom. In the meantime, check out some press about the book at the following places online!
