Jon Lezinsky is an award-winning illustrator who combines both hand crafted and digital techniques, along with found objects and anything else that might work to create unique paintings. His textures create a story that engage the viewer’s own imagination to want to know more. Various images, scraps of poetry and rich textures create mystery while they bring a strong sense of their own history to the narrative. His work has received honors from Communication Arts, American Illustration and Print Magazine. Since receiving his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Jon has worked as an art director, designer, instructor and even a stint as a Zamboni driver. His mixed-media images have been used by a wide variety of clients including The Washington Post, Time-Life Books, The PGA, Random House, The Dallas Morning News, Sony/BMG, Utne Reader, Chrysler, Bloomberg, General Motors and Proctor & Gamble.
