MC Big Fizz

June 3, 2008

MC Big Fizz was born Yancy Shuehorne on a hot 1974 summer day in the heart of Gary, Indiana. He was discovered at the age of 18 by a talent scout while performing an acapella set at an open mic event held at Shemp’s Shanty, a local cafe/tanning salon/movie rental shop. The young Shuehorne was an integral member of the 1990′s group EZ 2 PLEEZ, which was put together by marketing executives of the energy soda Easy Energy, which later had a “hip” makeover and became EZ-NRG. Yancy left the group in late 1994 and formed the NRG crew, which was scooped up by the creative executives behind a new modern energy drink that was to be later known as Mixxdown…The NRG crew has to date put out two Platinum albums, both of them containing singles for Mixxdown energy drink…other lesser-known songs include “Gimme Dat Washcloth” and “Don’t Drop Da Baby”. Mixxdown energy drink also features the NRG crew in all of their television and radio commercials…they are the proud sponsor of the San Francisco-based talk show Touch Base with Gregg Sween!

John Seymour of Mechanicsburg, OH

June 1, 2008

Visiting San Francisco! Hey John, what do you think about the city?

“Well, I just decided to come here because I heard about…Fisherman’s WHERF, it’s…pretty cool, smells a little bad…and there was a man with a bush attached to his body that jumped at me and uh, i’ll prolly never go back there again. Went to the Denny’s there…and uh, really, really, poor on the refills…so thanks, fer askin!”

Hot Bean Juice Love!

May 28, 2008

Oh, the wonders of coffee…if only my shoulder was squishy enough to be able to hold a mug firmly in place, my life would undoubtedly be enhanced to levels beyond my feeble comprehension. For now, i’ll settle with holding the mug in my hand or setting it down on my computer desk…maybe it’s better that way. I have to admit that I can’t always get what I want…and when I really think about it, i’d have to undergo some really seriously expensive surgery to remove all that pesky bone from my shoulder area so it would be soft…but is it even called a shoulder if you don’t have anything there? It would be more like a soft slope on one side of my body…and i’m big on symmetry, so maybe I shouldn’t do that…OR I could do it on both sides, so it would match…Maybe I could just forget about removing and go the “adding” route…where I inject a big deposit of fat in my right shoulder so it would be puffy and soft enough to nestle a mug in. Hmmm, now i’m more confused than when I started…more on this later.

Terrance Magenta, pet guru to the stars!

May 10, 2008

Folks, our next guest has been helping people make sense of their tumultuous relationships and find joy in their lives for the past thirteen years. And in that short amount of time he has become a world-renowned relationship counselor, author, pastry chef, and public speaker. He is probably most well known for his segment “The Crying Nook”, where he discussed important relationship issues on the daytime talk show “Feelin’ it” with Bertilla Flack. His work has taken a slight detour in recent years, and he is now focusing on pet-based relations. His new worldwide workshops and seminars teach pets and their owners to form stronger bonds, and to remedy even the deepest of past emotional trauma. Recently, Bored Housewife magazine named him the “Most Emotionally Intelligent Man” of 2008…he’s here in the studio today to promote his newest book “Open the Doggy Door of your Heart”, so please give a compassionate and heartfelt welcome to Mister Terry Magenta…
