Dear goof man, please stop looking at the camera.

April 4, 2008

I was recently interviewed by Emeri Gelle for SF Station TV in Mission Dolores Park. Dolores Park is a great place for an interview and also is my favorite place to lay in the grass and have frisbee-chasing dogs run full force into my head. Needless to say, it was an obvious choice for our get together. So anyways, we had fun! We chatted it up, I drew a little picture, mentioned some points of interest in my artmaking, and a little about my process. I tried my best to not look at the camera the whole time, but as you can see, there were a few times where I guess I thought it might be a good idea…hmmm….

It’s verry interesting to see you draw (your technique)

I could feel you staring into my soul!

    Freakin Geek.

She should have asked you in the interview what do you do when the weather doesn’t permit you to draw. What then? I personally get inside a plastic bag and get a flashlight… but everyone’s process is different, I guess ;)
