It’s a brand new funny purple day

This is a colored pencil sketch for a piece I recently finished for the SF Weekly paper…I’ll post the full color piece on Wednesday when it’s printed and smelling like fresh ink on the newsstands. This piece was created with the Summer of Love fest in mind, which often includes many different versions of this particular man under the tree.
