Grant Gilliland

Hello,

My name is Grant Gilliland, I live in San Francisco, and this is my first official post at iamgross.edu. In order to get everyone situated, I intend to state three things:

1.) I am not an uncle in the literal sense, where I have one or more siblings that have spawned children or accidentally adopted someone or even abandoned a child in the form of pillow-case bridge tossing with one or more heavy rocks inside. I am more of an uncle in the “spirit animal” sense, in that I mean the entire notion is a load of very pungent, somewhat tart bull excrement.

2.) I make drawings, illustrations, and fine art…not particularly in that order, and not even particularly while wearing adequate amounts of clothing. I do however, make a commendable effort to sport a pair of bright purple “drawing pants” that assist me to the utmost in my creative endeavors. To clear up any confusion, they look like this:

3.) I have another portfolio site that can be found at www.seegrantdraw.com. It moves and looks pretty. For the time being however, this blog will be used to document my most recent works and follies alike.

4.) My fourth statement, other than the fact that I lied about having three is that although this blog title ends in .edu, the educational purposes herein have not been endorsed by the California Department of Education, but have been endorsed by several transients I frequently argue with in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district.
