John Maggard + 2009 Hayward Baker Engineering calendar
January 21, 2009Hayward Baker Engineering publishes a calendar each year as a tool to effectively showcase their company for clients and customers alike. John Maggard has collaborated with creative director Daniel Townsend numerous times over the years on this project and won the Trigger Award last year for his exceptional work with them. The worldwide response they received with the calendar has added up to 5,000 additional calendar requests and has generated massive referrals to the firm. Daniel Townsend has been working with both John and Scott Hull for many years and calls all their professional interactions, “a great success.” He goes on to say, “We continue to receive the highest readership surveys in Engineering News Record, and have grown to be the largest geotechnical engineering group in North America and are considered the one-to-call for geotechnical issues.”
Obviously, John is doing something right. And this time was no exception. Keep in mind that most of this stabilization and engineering companies work is done underground, so they needed an illustration from someone with an eye for the unusual to make their business — often perceived as a little “muddy” — appear more attractive to the average consumer. This year the focus was on “green” issues and John used everything from a prairie landscape with various wildlife to energy efficient vehicles and solar rooftops as subjects. The result was another memorable artwork, and another year of very pleased clients.

I am interested in a rendering of some of our construction projects. we like the hayward baker calendar and what to do something like that but for our company.
